Effective July 2026
The short version
We collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and we do not spam anyone. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and how to opt out.
What we collect
What you give us. If you submit a form on this site, we collect your email address, which button you clicked, and when. We use it for one thing: replying to you. Forms are processed by Netlify, our hosting provider.
Visitor identification. We use a service called RB2B that attempts to match visitors from US IP addresses to publicly available business profiles, which can include a name, company, and LinkedIn profile. This tells us which companies are interested in our work. RB2B uses its own identifiers and data partners to do this matching; we do not see anything beyond the business profile it returns.
Hosting logs. Netlify keeps standard server logs (like IP addresses) to serve and secure the site, as every website host does.
How we use it
To reply to people who reach out, to understand who is visiting the site, and to make the site better. That is the whole list. We do not sell your information, we do not run advertising, and we do not put anyone into automated outreach sequences.
Your choices
You can opt out of RB2B's identification entirely using their opt-out form at app.retention.com/optout or by calling 855-306-2455. You can also ask RB2B what data they hold about you at app.retention.com/request_my_data. Ad blockers and privacy browser settings also work here; we do not try to get around them.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we have, ask us to delete it, and opt out of any sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your information, but if you want anything deleted or have any question about your data, use the contact form on our homepage and we will take care of it.
Changes and contact
If we change how this works, we will update this page. Questions about any of it? Use the contact form and a real person will get back to you.
